Reflections is my second 24-Hour Comic, and it is a doozy of a loopy ride. I started out with an idea of telling a sort of Amilie-like story about a guy who walks around in the places in cities you don't see people, but then thought better of it as I realized that all that was going on here was me being a self-aggrandizing Asberger's case. So I ran with that for a little while, then decided that was getting whiny and went straight for political philosophy, then got really powerfully bored with that and abruptly deceded to dive into space opera, planning at first to do something sweet and fun and full of cheesecake, but then I made the mistake of sending Mel down into the cargo bay, and we all know there's only one reason you EVER follow a character in a space opera into the cargo bay, which is that there's a stowaway. The stowaway pretty much has to be a Dickens-esque street urchin of some kind or another, and past that point the chronology of Unit Zero started to assert itself pretty violently until I was left with some of the creepier monologing I've ever written. So gah.

"Enjoy".
